Join us 7/22/22 – 7/24/22 for a two-part evidence-based curriculum for Frontline and Mental Health Professionals, facilitated by Lillian Lennox LMHC C-iRest ERYT 500 of LifeBreath Trainings.

Program begins at 3:30PM 7/22/22 and ends at 2:50PM 7/24/22.
All Necessary COVID-19 Safety Requirements & Precautions will be Observed.

PLEASE NOTE: Tickets for LifeBreath® Summer 2022: 3-Day Yoga and iRest Meditation Immersion Training for First Responders and Mental Health Professionals. now include lodging at Milldale Farm Center for Wellness as well as 2 lunches, 2 dinners and healthy snacks throughout the training.

The LifeBreath training includes daily practices that are directly transferable to your clients including breathing exercises (pranayama) and iRest meditation.

Offering meditation, breath practices, yoga, in depth on the polyvagal theory and cognition integrating resources that are safe, effective and relevant.

LIFEBREATH TRAINING OBJECTIVES:

 

The participant will be able incorporate western cognitive behavioral and eastern psychology to increase management of cognition including cognitive distortions and unhelpful core beliefs to efficiently and effectively clear thought obstacles and restore cognitive integration and balance.

The participant will be able to use the polyvagal theory including practices for up-regulation to promote tone and flexibility between connection and mobilization, as well as meditation, yoga and breathing exercises for down-regulation to access safety, inner resources and stillness.

LIFEBREATH TRAINING GOAL:

 

Participant will be able to incorporate practices and resources to assist in the integration of stress injury, and protect against further injury. Stress based injury includes vicarious trauma, compassion fatigue and burnout. Stress based injury can also include traumatic reaction and post-traumatic stress injury (PTSI).

LifeBreath Training will assist to increase mental and physical health & well-being.

LIFEBREATH OVERALL PURPOSE:

 

Stress is one of the greatest challenges for people and may create difficulties that profoundly impact our connection with self and others.

Stress ‘managed’ can be a source of motivation, deep creativity and change. Stress ‘unmanaged’ can be catastrophic.

Chronic or overwhelming stress can disrupt every physiological function and contributes in significant ways to acute and chronic psychological and physical disorders including heart disease, autoimmune disorders, pain, depression, PTSI and addiction.

LILLIAN ‘ISWARI’ LENNOX, LMHC, C-iRest®, E-RYT 500

Lillian

Lillian ‘Iswari’ Lennox, LMHC, C-iRest®, E-RYT 500 was born in Leicester, England and lived in Sydney, Australia for a number of years before settling in the Berkshires of Massachusetts. An adventurer on land and sea she was called at a young age to understand the path of healing from severe psychological trauma. With an MA in Counseling Psychology and a private practice in Lenox, Massachusetts, she has specialized in bringing traditional, complementary and alternative (CAM) approaches to assist in the prevention and treatment of complex stress injuries including vicarious trauma, compassion fatigue, burn-out and PTSD experienced in high stress military and civilian occupations.

A graduate of the International Trauma Studies Program at Columbia University, Lillian is also trained in interventions and preventions that promote the resilience, mental, social health and integration of individuals, families and communities who have endured catastrophic psychosocial trauma. She is currently a member of the Western Massachusetts Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) Team. Her LifeBreath Training is founded in the deep belief that we are here to help and learn from each other, as well as from the natural world. Reflecting the integrative and interdisciplinary quality of her treatments and programs, Lillian is a Certified iRest® Yoga Nidra Teacher, a Sivananda Advanced Yoga Teacher E-RYT 500 and a Certified Level II EMDR practitioner.

The LifeBreath Teams strengths are found in their deep belief that we are here to help and learn from each other and all beings. We deeply believe that yogic practices, love, humor and community connection will restore us to balance.

National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) Berkshire AHEC has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider,

ACEP No. 5585. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Berkshire AHEC is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.

National Association of Social Workers (NASW MA Chapter) This program has been approved for 15.5 Social Work Continuing Education hours for relicensure, in accordance with 258 CMR. NASW-MA Chapter CE Approving Program, Authorization Number D 81367-2.
Psychology – Spiritual Competency Resource Center (SCRC) CE credits for psychologists are provided by the Spiritual Competency Resource Center (SCRC) which is co-sponsoring this program.
